We're a micro-roastery launching in Massachusetts (February 2026) and expanding nationwide (Summer 2026). We focus on ultra-fresh small-batch roasting, ethical sourcing, and building a purpose-driven coffee community.

Why are you launching like a Kickstarter?

Instead of taking out massive loans or seeking investors, we're inviting early supporters to help prove there's demand for what we're building. Your founding member prepayment ($20/$50/$100) helps us invest in equipment, licensing, and ethical sourcing with confidence. In return, you get deep discounts for 6 months, then 10% off forever.

When do you launch?

• Massachusetts: February 2026

• Outside Massachusetts (nationwide): Summer 2026 (June-August)

Why Massachusetts first, then nationwide?

Massachusetts has specific regulations for interstate food shipping (wholesale licensing vs. cottage food laws). We're starting local under simpler regulations, then upgrading to wholesale licensing for national shipping. This lets us launch faster, learn from local customers, and expand with confidence.

Where do you source your coffee beans?

We source through verified ethical marketplaces, choosing farms and cooperatives that meet at least one of these criteria: women-led, living wage certified, fair trade, or organic. We're building toward direct trade relationships as we grow.

What does "ultra-fresh" mean?

Most commercial coffee is roasted weeks or months before it reaches you. We roast to order and deliver within days. Coffee is at its peak flavor 3-14 days after roasting—that's when you receive it.

What does "micro-batch" mean?

Micro-batch roasting means we roast coffee in small quantities (5-15 pounds at a time) rather than large commercial batches of 50-200+ pounds.

While commercial roasters juggle dozens of product lines—different origins, blends, and flavor profiles—micro-batch roasting lets us focus on the quality of every single bag. We have better control over consistency, roast fresh to order (not weeks in advance), and pay closer attention to the unique characteristics of each origin.

The result: peak freshness and more consistent quality when it reaches you.

How does the subscription work?

Choose your bag size (12oz or 24oz) and frequency (every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks). We roast your coffee fresh and ship it to arrive during peak freshness. Pause or cancel anytime.

What are the pricing options?

Do you offer decaf or flavored coffee?

Not at launch. We're starting focused: exceptional single-origin and blend options, roasted to highlight the natural characteristics of the beans.

What's the difference between the two tiers?

Like Kickstarter early bird pricing, we have two geographic tiers:

Is prepaying safe?

Yes, 100% risk-free. If we don't gather enough founding members to launch sustainably or can't launch for any other reason, you get a full refund. You're only committed once we actually launch and start sending you coffee. You're not just a customer—you're supporting the launch of something new.

What if we don’t launch?

If we don't hit 150 founding members or can't launch for any reason, you get a full 100% refund. No risk to you.

What does “10% off forever" mean?

After your first 6 months of deep discounts, you keep 10% off every bag for as long as you're a subscriber. That's $2/month in savings ($24/year, $120 over 5 years).

You can pause or cancel anytime, but your founding member discount is locked in for life—it comes back whenever you restart. Think of it like a lifetime membership benefit.

I'm in Massachusetts but want to wait until summer. Can I join Outside Massachusetts Founding Circle?

Yes! You can join Outside Massachusetts Founding Circle and receive coffee in summer with 20% off first 6 months + 10% forever. We're offering MA Founding Circle members 25% because they're helping us work out the kinks early. Both tiers get the same 10% lifetime discount after 6 months.

Can I upgrade my prepay amount later?

Yes—you can upgrade from $20 to $50 or $100 before your tier closes (Dec 8 for MA, Dec 19 for Outside MA). After that, founding member spots are likely gone forever. Reach out if you want to contribute more than what is listed.
